I LOVE the 4th of July.
I love everything about it.
America.  BBQ's.  Fireworks.
Family. Laughing at Drunk People.
The white trash Vernal parade.
Sunshine (some years).
Going to the Lake
EVERYTHING.

Unicycling is in my life because of this day.
(the 24th too but we won't count that haha)

yaaay Unicycles!
(the drill team didn't ride them this year! lame!)

We go to the super lame Vernal Parade
(please note the hint of redneck in the background)

Magic School Bus with Dinosaurs on Top? or what?
Oh how I love my town.

Last Summer
I went paint-balling for the first time in my life! It was a blast!
Went boating
Watched the fireworks
... all amazing.
But
Afterwords Alesha Watkins and Hanah Gillman drove throughout Vernal
found people who were lighting off fireworks in the street
Windows rolled down
Screaming things like "USA! USA! USA!"
and...
"America!.... Land of the free, Home of the brave"
Which was met by whoops and hollars
(Some hick lingo there)
Best. Night. Ever.
Miss those girls.

This year was pretty awesome as well!

The highlight of my 4th of July weekend was that I got to see Carrie Underwood!
13th row tickets that I didn't even pay for!

How does that happen? you might ask yourself.

I work with this guy named Quintin Huber.
He LOVES Carrie.  Right when he found out she was coming to the Stadium of Fire he got tickets. So that is where the 13th row comes in.  He originally planned to go with his friend, but she was being uber lame and told him she couldn't go because she couldn't get work off. So he is worried about not being able to find anyone, and I tell him that I will be his last resort if he can't find anyone else to go. (I didn't want it to be awkward if he said I could come and then found someone he would rather go with) So a week before the concert I get a text that says, looks like you are the lucky winner who gets to go to Carrie Underwood with me! I was stoked!

Two days before the concert the girl who was originally supposed to go called him up and said,
I got work off for the concert.

Oops.  He told her he was already taking him and she chewed him out.
I felt bad, but what can ya do?

At the beginning of Stadium of Fire they said a prayer.
After the prayer was over, in the silence,
I yell  "AMERICA!"
In the spirit of last year of course.
Provo is lame, no one even helped me out.
They just looked back at me like I was an idiot.
Lame. I missed my hick town.
(I yelled it at the Vernal fireworks the next night though, and got a better response)

Carrie Underwood sang the national anthem.
It was AMAZING!
She is so beautiful and talented.
Oh, and spiritual.
She sang How Great Thou Art and I loved every second of it.
She sang it towards the heavens and teared up. She rocks.

It was a blast and a half!
She was obviously amazing,
and the fireworks were incredible.

Oh, and the row across from me totally had to dodge a firework!
I witnessed it with my own eyes.
and... I was jealous it wasn't me. It would have been a killer story.

AMERICA!
Land of the Free,
Home of the Brave.

So I was watching Cake Boss last night,
This guy totally made a replica of his wife.... cake style!
Made me think of my Mookeensta.
MY little sister is headed straight for TLC.  She already has some SWEET cake skills!

Happy Birthday Mookenna!
(Yes, she made her own cake.  We told her we would make her one but she wanted to make it)
Happy Anniversary
Keith and Lori!

McKenna and our cute neighbors made this awesome cake for their anniversary!
They used Fondant and everything! It was way impressive.
Note the Fondant roses and vines.

and remember Hailey's specially made birthday cake?

 The girl has skills!
Happy Birthday to my adorable little Kenna!
and Happy 24th Anniversary to the 'rents!

Okay, but seriously,
MY DAD ROCKS.
Happy Father's day!!!

Hailey Sprouse= 17 years old today.
I have already bragged about how awesome she is here
I love her.  She is the coolest person ever to walk the earth.

I also talked about how cute little McKenna is about her hand-made gifts.  Here is a prime example:

She personalized some of Hailey's perfume by putting papers she decorated herself on it.

Made her an "H" shaped piece of cake
and a coin purse she stitched together with a magnetic clasp

SO cute that she goes through all this trouble for her family!

Oh, and some other love from this weekend

Sometimes the poor youngest gets some extra lovin' from her big sisters.

BAHAHAA.  I just pulled the funniest joke on my 2nd cousin.

Lori informed him that I got a boyfriend 2 weeks ago and that things had gotten out of control between me and the boyfriend AND she had even found condoms in my possession.  Brandon was so worried about me and called me ( I was with Lori the whole time) and I brought up the fact that I had a boyfriend and that he was smokin' hott.  He got so worried and even talked to Lori about driving up to Logan to talk me into correcting my ways.

We told him it was all a joke, but now he is upset with us.  I've gotta admit though, It was

HILARIOUS.
Heller.

You may have noticed the change of scenery here on my bloggidy blog.  I felt it was time to switch it up.

Spring Break.  What an enjoyable time.... perfect time for a break from school.

I started out the break with a little weekend trip with Cheltzeeeee.  We decided it was mandatory to at least get out of the state of Utar. So we planned the weekend and started it out by heading down south to the warmth of St. G.

Due to our emense amount of partying in the car, we didn't even notice the level of fuel in the tank.  We found ourselves 30 miles away from Beaver with a definite possibility that we might just be kickin' it on the side of the road.   Despite the fact that we were almost certain we were going to be stranded there for awhile, due to some coasting and fumes WE MADE IT to a gas station!!! Words could not express our joy and we felt like kissing the feet of our gas pump savior.

Thankfully we finally made it to St. Geeze.  We stayed with my adorable grandparents Friday night and went to Alice in Wonderland.

I LOVE ALICE IN WONDERLAND.

Saturday. we woke up and my grandparents made us a delicious breakfast of pancakes and eggs.  I love those adorable people.  We left, headed toward Nevaahda to the City of LAS VEGAS.  One of my new favorite places. On the way we took pictures by the Arizona sign.  (We were planning on taking one by the Nevada sign too... didn't happen)

On the way we hit up a good ol' baby shower, Madison Cooks party in Mesquite.  Love me some baby shower.  We made the baby cute little flower bows.

We finally made it to the beautiful Las Vegas.  I was stoked because I was ready for some good quality warmth from the sun.  FALSE. Did not happen.  The ONE day that we decide to go to Vegas during spring break turned out to be cold and windy.  Seriously!?

Well, we still went to the strip despite the chilly weather.  It was fun.  Chelsea tried her luck at the casino, BECAUSE SHE CAN.

....And....

Winna Winna Chicken Dinna!!!!

Had a blast on this trip with my Bestie :)

Sunday.  We caught a quick Sacrament meeting, and then made the trek back to Utah.  Boo.
On the way back we had lots of fun.  We listened to

and performed a musical of

for the makeshift audience consisting on cars we passed on the freeway.
 Got some great looks.

On our return to Orem we went to the famous Karee oh kay Night at Applebee's

Where I had a chance to catch up with these lovely women.
I luff my Coral and Toenail.

(We didn't think we were going to get a group shot)

But we did.

This group of hot women also inspired this
completely-ready-for-marriage-Mctool with a BYU hoodie on
to come and hit on us.

Now don't get me wrong, I give the guy props for coming up and talking to us.
However,
There is no excuse for the very lame way he did it. (or his hoodie.  ha.) He just happened to be walking by and saw a group of girls.  SO it's not like he was watching us and FINALLY got the nerve up to talk to us,
he was just passing by.  Then he used a pick up line that should NEVER EVER be used in the modern world.
So, Do you come here often??
Then he proceeded by telling us about the game nights that they have at his apartment alot (which was fine) but then he said something along the lines of... so, can I get your number (who's?) so I can invite you next time?  Followed by an awkward silence as we all looked around at each other giving looks of...
YOU give him your number! I'm not.
Finally, Coral and Tenille (both of which have boyfriends I might add) finally gave in
and gave them their number due to the intolerable awkwardness of the situation.
They were pretty mad at Chelsea and I for not giving in.

THEN after spending a few days chillin' with the girls in Orem, I caught a ride with Coral to the hometown.  Where I spent some quality time with my sisters!

A little nervous about who's in the drivers seat.

After some days in V-town hanging with the fam we went to Lehi for my future new aunt Star's bridal shower.  I was super stoked because my baby cousin, Addison, usually hates my guts.  BUT, this time she LOVED me.  I was sooo happy. Here's a look at the darling girl.

She is a little Diva who loves hot pink.  She carries around pink lip gloss all the time.
And I love her darling little cupcake outfit.

And that, Ladies and Gentleman (mostly ladies let's be honest it's a blog) That was my kind of random but still awesome spring break!
Hope you enjoyed.
My grandma Sprouse is such a cute lady! Recently she has started sending me money so I will survive as a starving college student.  My mom has been telling me to sell plasma lately so I can get some $$$  Here's what I got in the mail from Grandma Spruceky along with some money.

Apparently my mom must have said something about selling plasma when they went to visit or something.  It made me smile so so big. What a cute lady.  I love her.
Yes, you guessed it. I, Kaitlyn Michelle Sprouse the third (okay, I made that part up because my name didn't sound cool enough) will be reaching the ripe old age of TWENTY. Yes... that is correct.  I have almost been alive for TWO decades.

But, you know what is even more incredible? The fact that one of my bestest friends in the whole wide world, Kacee Cambron is turning two zero the VERY NEXT DAY.  You heard it here first people.

Last year we were both in Vernal, Utah over the birthday phenomenon. McKenna made Kacee and I both our own home-made gifts.  It was so fun! Then when we came back Carlie Pennington bought us cute baloons and birthday crowns.  Yaay for number 19.  What is in hold for the last month of my teenage life? We will find out.  I expect great things.
1. When people almost fall and then look around to see if anyone noticed...

2. Exchanges of looks between friends that are a conversation all their own, no words required...

3. When I think about a funny thing that happened and let out an audible laugh when I'm all alone and then I laugh inside even more because I laughed out loud...

4. When this girl in my art class purposely puckers her lips when being a model even though I know for a fact her lips don't naturally go that way...

5. When Tenille used to tell me "You're a idiot"...

6. Hearing someone tell the same story multiple times and every time it gets more and more dramatic...

7. Seeing 3 girls who all look exactly alike and have absolutely no brain do the same choreographed moves at a concert while my friends and I mock them behind their backs...

8. Reminiscing about roommate stories from last year...

9. When I think about my sister's famous "McKenna face" and cute and funny she is...

10.  When I make a joke and after think, "I am my dad.  He totally would have told that same cheesy joke!" (I love it)....

11. Nonsense conversations with Hailey on facebook or texting.  Example, Me: haha you'll get over it.  Hailey: Yeah I will after I kill you with a banana.  Me: Well after I'll leave that banana peel on the ground and you'll drive over it with your kart and spin to your death.  Then I'll come back and laugh at you. Hailey: Well I will skillfully avoid your banana

 12. When Hanah and I go off on random tangents quoting the random collection of SNL, Youtube, and Collegehumor videos that we love.

13. When Corie talks in a certain way that only I think is funny so I laugh and no one knows why I'm laughing...

14.  When I see people do the almost-asleep-nod in class.  Especially the time when one guy actually started snoring in class and a random girl woke him up and said, "you were snoring." in a really annoyed voice...

15. When I listen to the song Walk it Out by Outkast on campus and picture that the people walking around are strutting their stuff to the song....

16. This girl who will stick in reasons why she is awesome to every conversation.... she LIVES for art.  She breathes art.

17. When this guy walked by flopping his feet.  It's hard to explain but he relaxed his ankles so he made a ton of noise and his heel would hit the ground first and then the rest of his foot would hit....

18. When I see the back of Jason Fullers head when he is on the front row of the Aggie basketball game and can tell how very happy he is without even seeing his face.
19.  Ryan McKoy and his whiteboard.

20.  Watching the dance team "dance."

.... Makes me giggle inside.

p.s.

21. AND when I went back through and read this and realized that in 9 I sounded like Yoda...

oh and I just thought of another one.

22. When I texted my dad and said "Did you find your boar?" when I really meant to say did you find your coat.  He responded with, "I wasn't aware I ever had a boar."

23.  Also, when he texted me during the Aggie game and said, "Has wild Bill asked you on a date lately?" haha.  Silly dad...

24. The girl in my drawing class who looks exactly like Meredith from the Office.  It's uncanny her resemblance.  She even acts like her.

25.  The fact that I laughed to myself while reading through this post.  Wow.

The following is an excerpt from my journal.  I'm going to use the same spelling I used in the book because its funny.

A little background.  My parents gave me this journal for Valentines day when I was 8.  A few months later, on April 11th I was baptized and Grandma Taggart sat me down and told me to write in my journal about this special day so that I can remember and cherish it later.  Well... I do cherish this journal entry, but NOT in the way grandma was probably hoping I would.

How I felt
 Chapter 1

how I felt when I was Baptized is hard to Deskrib. but I can.  I felt like a mirmermaid when he lifed [lifted?] me dowen my dad did it.) and I also felt like a duck swimming under the water.  or like I was swimming and the water tuched my face.  or lik on a windy day when the wind taches my fase.  or like some one tide me up with rope, and they throw me in the ocean.  and I dround.  But most of all I felt Happy.

How I felt
Chapter 2
When 12 men cearcled around, and the blesing was said I whent to seit down.  I felt like: I had a new can panyan of something or somesort.  but enyway I felt happy.

And that's 8 year old Kaitlyn for ya.

=============================

Okay, I found another one that I wanted to share, because its really funny.  I was SUCH a brat.  I can't believe it.  Looking back at my journal is really surprising because I was everything that drives me NUTS now.  I was such a little Drama Queen!

Enjoy:

Today is laborday and I am shut in my room with my sister because we got in a fight and my mom said that we are the most self-centered people she has ever met.  Ya the gurl (really? gurl? haha) who babysits 4 her so she can go to the temple, without even getting paid.  and I am self-centered.  I am just so sick of hailey's messes.  Sure Jamie & Kenna get along but they r young.  we got along when we were young.  And they don't have to share a room.  hailey always puts her stuff on  my side and when I show her what it feels like she throws a shoe at me and it hits me.  It is so hard 2 b the peace maker all of the time.  When she says her room is "clean" I look over and see the floor clean but her bed is cluttered and she NEVER THROWS ANYTHING AWAY EVER.  She has papers EVERYwhere.  Now you can see how I feel.

Yeah.. I was a brat! I used babysitting so my parents could go to the TEMPLE... THE TEMPLE!!... as leverage.  Wow.
Christmas Break.  One whole month of no school.  A few people have called me out on being "anti-social." I am not trying to disagree with that fact, because most of that time I spent at home with my family instead of out with people my age.  Call me crazy, but I enjoyed my Christmas Break all the same.  (Wow, I might as well move to a nursing home, eh?) I love my family.  My sisters are my best friends! I mean, look how beautiful these little gems are!

(The picture on the top left has my baby cousin with McKenna haha.  It's hard to get a picture of her not blinking :D)

I might be just a little biased, but my sisters are lookers!

Hailey
Hailey was my arch nemesis growing up, although I must say I was smarter about my tactics than she was.  We would both get into trouble for doing the exact same thing, and I would go in my room and listen to her continue to argue with my mom.  She always ended up with the harsher punishment, which I absolutely loved.  She threw a wood easter egg at my head though, so it was pretty even.

Right before I left for college the first time Hailey and I created a super bond.  We were idiots for not getting along for so long, because we are the same person.  She is someone that I can tell everything that is going on in my life.  She is a crazy fool.... I can't see how anyone could talk to this girl and not fall into instant love.  For example:

  Irresistible.

Jamie

This gorgeous lady has the whole Vernal Middle School male population drooling.  All the men want her, but she doesn't want anything to do with them.  Or so we thought...

This last week I got a text message from Thing 1 (Hailey) that read, and I quote:

Jamie likes a boy!

This was HUGE! I had been trying to get this information out of the girl for soooooo long! I have no idea who this boy is.... but he must be a big deal for this information to emerge from Jamie.  She's like a vault, baby, locked down.

..... And I got her to take a crazy picture with me.  It's like a right of passage in the Sprouse House.

McKenna

This girl.  I have often been accused of playing favorites in the little sister world... but sometimes I just cannot help it.  Since the beginning of this girls life she has been hilarious and awesome.  Especially when it comes to taking pictures.  At one point I had a photo album that was titled "The photogenic life of McKenna Sprouse." The most prized possession of said album is as follows

but also includes THIS

  and This

Although you might not know it from her pictures, this girl is sooo smart! She memorized all of the articles of faith before she was 8 years old! She is also one of the most giving people I have ever known.  Thats right people EVER KNOWN.  She knows the birthdays of everyone in my family (something I didn't know at her age) and she makes a hand made present for each persons birthday and for other holidays such as Valentines Day and Christmas.

She is just hilarious.  I was calling my mom back the other day and McKenna picked up the phone.  My mom was busy so we talked for about an hour.  She kept giving me a play by play of exactly what she was doing at the moment, including counting every single step that she took on the way to her room.  (so she could clean it and go to Subway for lunch) haha.  It made me miss home.

Moral of the Story
Call me crazy for staying home and hanging out at home for the month of Christmas break.  I don't care.  Why go out when you have 3 of your best friends at home who will love you no matter what? I know this is sounding all warm and fuzzy and super cheese, but I don't care.  I love these girls!
